Om traineeprogrammet

SEB’s International Trainee program – A great chance to grow your potential.

At SEB we believe that entrepreneurial minds and innovative companies are key in creating a better world. We are here to enable them to achieve their aspirations and succeed through good and bad times.

Our trainee programme gives you the opportunity to bring your fresh perspectives in creating value for our customers and to gain a thorough understanding of SEB. To prepare you for an interesting and challenging role within our organisation and to build an extensive network in a short time.

Our International Trainee Programme has approximately 20 positions across Sweden and a few international sites. The programme starts in September and runs for 9 months. All trainees are offered a specific role and belong to a home unit during the whole period. The programme is designed to give you a broad introduction to work in a big international organisation and it is structured in four parts; on-the-job training, future competence building and individual development, site visits and internship. 

So, taking responsibility and positively influencing others are important qualities for us. You will be given the opportunity to design and tailor your own education programme. You will select rotations to units of your interest and make exchanges and field trips to other departments, in and outside of your home country. In connection to the programme you will also have the possibility to work at some of SEB´s   international sites.

During your trainee period you will practice a lot of collaboration, both with your trainee friends and other colleagues in the bank. You will learn and impact our way of working, our culture and values. Most of all, you will have a lot of fun during the way.
