Om oss
If you’ve ever flown anywhere, chances are we’ve already met. You’ve seen the large turbines hanging beneath the aircraft’s wings – those are the engines, and that’s our business.
Working with the world’s biggest aerospace companies and operating globally, what we do – and don’t do – has a major impact. Our mission: to be the most trusted and sustainable partner in the sky.
Our engine components are found on 90% of the world’s large passenger jets, helping connect people and places worldwide. By reducing engine weight, we improve fuel efficiency and lower emissions—advancing both today’s technology and the engine architectures of tomorrow.
In defence, we power the JAS 39 Gripen and have partnered with the Swedish Armed Forces for almost a century, strengthening defence capabilities for Sweden and NATO.
Beyond Earth, our Swedish‑built technology plays a critical role in Europe’s access to space. Since the 1970s, our rocket nozzles and engine components have powered the Ariane program, proving that our impact reaches far beyond the sky.
Across civil, defence and space, we deliver trusted technology that keeps the world moving, safe and connected.
